Who is Deloitte? (Part 1)
- Deloitte Consulting AG is a leading European RegTech Provider of end-to-end managed services for KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering). The purpose of a Know Your Customer/Know Your Business check is to verify the identity of an individual or the existence of a business. The process is typically inefficient for the verifying entity and repetitive for the customer.
How does Deloitte use KILT?
- Deloitte is integrating KILT blockchain technology for issuing reusable digital credentials to support their KYC and KYB processes. Generated on KILTās identity infrastructure, the credentials are stored in the customerās wallet on their own device, remaining under their control at all times. Use cases include regulatory compliance for banking and DeFi, age verification for e-commerce, private logins and fundraising.
